Production duo Stargate have delivered massive hits over the past decade and a half and now they are embarking on a new journey as artists themselves.
RCA Records have today announced the signing of Norwegian producer/songwriter team, comprised of Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen. Stargate will be releasing their debut single as a recording artist called ‘Waterfall’ featuring P!nk and Sia everywhere Friday, March 10th. Stargate’s relationship with Sia began when they together wrote the hit ‘Diamonds’ for Rihanna. The duo has been teasing the dancehall-infused single on their Instagram over past couple of days. ‘Waterfall’ was co-written by Stargate, Sia, Diplo, and Jr. Blender.

Stargate is responsible for as many as 10 Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles in the U.S. and 11 in the UK. Some of the hits they have produced include Beyonce’s ‘Irreplaceable’, Rihanna’s ‘Rude Boy’, ‘Don’t Stop The Music’, ‘Only Girl (In the World)’, ‘What’s My Name’, ‘S&M’, ‘Diamonds’, Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’ and more.
Their upcoming project is set to feature some of today’s superstars as well as new & upcoming artists.
