Royce 5’9″ delivered a fantastic album with DJ Premier, PRhyme 2 earlier this year which is still getting played around here. But it’s now time to move on to his new solo album, Book of Ryan (see tracklist here).
The Detroit emcee has mentioned several times in interviews and on social media that this will be his most personal and thought provoking project to date and we definitely believe him. Following the first single ‘Boblo Boat‘ featuring the only guest on the LP, J. Cole and the accompany music video, Royce is back today with a new song off the album titled ‘Stay Woke’.
