Nicki Minaj and Cardi B finally put all rumors to rest about their beef by publicly appearing together at the 2018 Met Gala tonight (May 7) in New York City.
The two rappers were seen chatting with one another at the event which took place at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. We don’t know what the conversation is about but the “Invasion of Privacy” rapper was seen smiling while talking to Minaj. “You know what, because I’m the bad guy, and I wanted to make sure that the bad guy was here,” Nicki told E! on the red carpet. “Album dropping June 15. It’s called Queen,” she announced (watch video here).
Nicki and Cardi B have been in a complicated relationship for months. In April, Nicki’s original verse on ‘Motorsport’ surfaced online where she’s name dropping Cardi. Before that on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show, Nicki said she didn’t have a problem with Cardi but she didn’t appreciate how the “Bodak Yellow” rapper shaded her in a couple of interviews after the release of ‘Motorsport’.
