Drake Picks ‘Nonstop’ As Next Single From ‘Scorpion’

When Drake released his fifth studio album Scorpion almost a month ago, it was hard to say which was the best performing song on streaming services as there were multiple ones which struck a chord with the audience.

Drake and his labels had initially picked ‘In My Feelings’ and ‘Don’t Matter To Me’ featuring Michael Jackson as the follow singles to ‘Nice For What’ but the plan had to be switched once the former blew up on social media, thanks to the #InMyFeelings dance challenge started by Instagrammer Shiggy. As a result, as reported first my HHNM, ‘Don’t Matter To Me’ was scrapped as a single and the entire focus of Cash Money/Republic Records started to be on ‘In My Feelings’. Drake shot the music video for the number 1 single in New Orleans on Tuesday (July 24).

Drizzy and his team have now picked up the next round of ammunition from the chart topping double album, which will be track #2 ‘Nonstop‘, HHNM can confirm. The Tay Keith-produced banger was one of the best performing songs on streaming services upon Scorpion‘s release and continues to get traction even without any push. It is set to go for adds on radio stations countrywide next week and will see heightened promotion on other channels as well.

Do you think it is a good choice? Let us know in the comments section.
