On Tuesday night, Cardi went live on her favorite social media platform Instagram and talked a little bit about her plans for the new year. When a fan asked if she will release a new album in 2019, the New York rapper said “of course there’s gonna be an album in 2019.” Watch the clip below.

Later on, she said she’s hopeful of getting it done by the same time that her GRAMMY nominated debut Invasion of Privacy came out (April 5th), but she’s not sure if that will be doable. Ten days ago, Cardi released the video for her latest single ‘Money’ which is reportedly set to appear on a deluxe/CD version of Invasion of Privacy, arriving in stores on Jan. 25th.
