2018 was arguably one of the best years of J. Cole’s career with the release of K.O.D. and his hot streak of guest appearances including collaborations with Wale, Moneybagg Yo and 6LACK amongst many others.
The Revenge Of The Dreamers III sessions earlier this month became a huge part of Hip-Hop social media while they were taking place, with fans on the edges of their seats waiting to see who’d be invited. It had a lot of people excited for the Dreamville compilation, expecting it sooner rather than later.
Earlier this week, J. Cole announced a new single called ‘Middle Child’ which would be produced by T-Minus. It shook things up a little. J. Cole hasn’t announced and/or promoted new music like this with a time and date drop in a few years now. It also had people wondering whether the song would be for ROTD 3, The Off Season or The Fall Off.
