According to local reports, Sean Kingston is in critical condition in Miami following a Jet Ski accident. There was a female companion on board as well who is also said to have also been injured.
A law-enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirms that Kingston, 21, was thrown from his Jet Ski after crashing into a bridge in Miami Beach around 6 p.m. local time and is now in critical condition at Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital.

UPDATE: According to his rep, “Sean has been transferred from the trauma unit to the intensive care unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital where he is in critical condition, but has been stabilized.”
UPDATE 2: According to CNN, Sean is expected to make recovery from his injuries in about 6 weeks time.
UPDATE 3: His rep has some good news today (June 6th): “Sean is breathing on his own and walked for the first time this morning. Sean Kingston continues to be hospitalized at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. His condition has been upgraded to serious.”
