Azealia Banks Announces ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ Release Date

After creating some buzz with her Fantasea mixtape and 1991 EP, Azealia Banks is going ahead with plans to release her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste. The LP was originally due out in September but the Harlem rapper has today announced the new date for it — February 12th, 2013. Earlier this year, she revealed some details to Complex:

“My album is going to be called ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’. It’s gonna to be about all that ratchet shit, like having your MetroCard and your cell phone and feeling like you’re alive. It’s definitely gonna be mad New York.”
