Welcome back to the weekly edition of Saturday Spotlight. We had another great set of submissions and had a very tough decision on our hands. Continued thanks goes out to those submitting music each week and our readers showing interest in the feature. We hope everyone is enjoying discovering new talent as much as we are. Moving on, this week we have two young MCs with some fresh rhymes and a dope sound — William Aston and JSWISS.
We once again want to make it clear that if your submission wasn’t picked in a particular week, you will still have a chance in the next editions if your music stands out from the rest. You are free to re-submit but please don’t spam us!
Previous: Malik Ferraud + Myke Bogan
William Aston, a Steaktown Zombie artist, hails from Philly with an impressive flow and clever lyrical ability. Here’s his new video off his upcoming project Mr. Aston. The structure of this particular song caught our immediate attention.
New York native and UNC Tar Heel, JSWISS, brings you into the daily conversation of the rap game in his video off his mixtape, Out Of State Intuition 2: Leave Me A Loan. The track was produced by K-Hill and the video was directed by HHNM’s very own, Joe Money. Chill out.
