While Lil Wayne is still recovering at the Cedars-Sinai hospital in L.A. after suffering from seizures, there has been a backlash from his supporters about TMZ reporting that he’s critical and “receiving his last rites”. The latter portion was deleted from their story after Birdman, Mack Maine and more confirmed that he’s fine but it attracted a lot of opinion from his friends and family.
T.I. was one of them. After he tweeted his support from Wayne couple of days go, he also openly called out TMZ at SXSW the same night for jumping the gun and reporting a false story. Above is footage shot by Midwest Leak.
