The-Dream’s fourth album IV Play is getting mixed reaction from fans but not many are flocking to the stores to purchase a copy. According to HDD, the LP is projected to sell 18-21k copies in the first week which is definitely much lower than we expected. If we take the quality of the album into consideration, the number is lower than what it deserves to be as well. You can get your copy here.
In comparison, his last album (excluding 1977), Love King debuted at number 4 on Billboard 200 selling 58k in the first week.
Kid Ink’s debut RCA project, Almost EP will sell between 11-13k.
