December 10th saw the release of two major albums in their own right. The legendary R. Kelly released his new “back to raunchy” CD, Black Panties which is getting mostly positive reviews from listeners. According to HDD, the album is on course to sell 90-100k in the first week which will be good enough for a top 5 debut on Billboard 200
The other one was from writer-actor turned rapper Childish Gambino who dropped his second album Because The Internet, the follow up to his 2011 debut Camp. Because The Internet is projected to move a healthy 80-90k units in the first week, a number which may be surprise a few of his critics.
