Drake is currently performing at the Sprite NBA All-Star event at the House of Blues in New Orleans where he invited special guests Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz to the stage. According to multiple sources attending the event, Drizzy took the honor to announce that Tha Carter V will release on May 5th.
Not a surprise anymore I guess.
