As expected, the Future ‘Drunk In Love’ situation gets more complicated day by day. In an #Honest sitdown with Sway to promote his sophomore album, Future explained the whole background story behind cutting a record for Beyonce with Detail in the studio which ended up being her hit ‘Drunk In Love’.
He explains how Detail never informed him about the developments on Beyonce’s end like he should have which almost harmed their relationship, adding that Detail came to him saying “you give me publishing for ‘Real & True’, I give you publishing for ‘Drunk In Love”. But he “moved on” from the situation as he believes he makes great music with Detail. The rapper-songwriter says the business will be handled and he still hopes he will receive the right publishing for his contribution.
Future also spoke on T-Pain’s past jabs at him, admitting that he might not be open to working with him now.
