Lately, Nicki Minaj has been impressing everybody with her new, naturally pretty look. The crazy costumes are no where to be seen and musically, she’s trying to get back to her roots with songs like ‘Lookin A*s’ and ‘Chi-Raq’.
Nicki sat down with MTV during a promo run for new movie The Other Woman where she discussed her new look, what inspired her to go for a natural look and sound of her upcoming album which is tentatively titled The Pink Print. Oh yeah, it’s a “hell no” to songs like ‘Super Bass’ on this one.
“I went so far to the other side that there’s only one place to go from there,” Minaj told us while promoting “The Other Woman.” “You can either continue doing costumes or you can just say, ‘Hey guess what? This will shock them even more. Doing nothing will shock them even more.'”
Nicki also says we can expect a new song which sounds nothing like the above mentioned ones in a week or so.
