Bow Wow has decided to change his stage name Bow Wow to his government one ‘Shad Moss’.
The rapper, actor and BET host made the announcement on his Instagram yesterday, saying that it’s a new era and the name Bow Wow doesn’t fit with what he is today so he will be known as Shad Moss from June 29th onwards (BET Awards).
ANNOUNCEMENT: After BET awards i will no longer go by Bow Wow! Im going by my real name “Shad Moss” we made alot of history as bow wow. Now its time for the next chapter and challenge. Bow wow does not fit who i am today. Ima father, business man, TV host, Actor, and rapper! Time for MR Moss to take over!
Shad was known as Lil Bow Wow when he first broke onto the scene with his double platinum debut album Beware Of Dog at the age of 13. He is set to release his new single ‘Right Now’ featuring K Camp in the coming weeks.
