Sam Smith is continuing to promote his critically acclaimed debut album In The Lonely Hour. He has connected with John Legend to record a new version of ‘Lay Me Down’ which will serve as the next single from the album, impacting radio this week.
The duo will perform the ballad on Comic Relief – Face the Funny on Friday March 13 on BBC One. The one-off performance will be broadcast live from the London Palladium to support the young LGBT community in London. All profits from the sale of the single will also be donated to Comic Relief.
