Rick Ross has been booked into the Fayette County jail for the second time this month.
He was arrested Wednesday morning, this time on kidnapping and aggravated battery charges in Fayette County where he recently bought a mansion that once belonged to boxing legend Evander Holyfield. Trouble began when he was getting some work done on the home where he allegedly got into a fight with one of the workers and pistol-whipped him. Ross along with his bodygaurd Nadrian Lateef James, 42, were identified as the suspects in the assault and eventually got booked for kidnapping, aggravated battery and aggravated assault.
Ross and James are being held at the Fayette County jail for an initial appearance and bond hearing, according to the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
UPDATE: More details on the case have emerged. According to the warrant, the rapper hit his worker Jonathan Zamudio several times with a gun and chipped two of Zamudio’s teeth after he along with his bodyguard held him at the house against his will. Zamudio also suffered serious neck and jaw injuries. Ross has been denied bail by a Magistrate Court judge and will remain in jail until a bond hearing can be held in Superior Court. And of course, here’s 50 Cent poking fun at the “fat boy”:
