Maxwell made his much awaited return to music in April with his new single ‘Lake By The Ocean‘ which is getting a great reaction from his core fan base.
Last night, he landed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform the new song for the first time on TV with some help from a live band and some backup singers. His new album blackSUMMERS’night is due in stores July 1st. Watch his performance below.
