The CEO of TDE, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith is really like the open spokesperson of the label as well. Fans often hit him up on social media asking about release dates, pressuring him into putting stuff and the like.
There was much hype around the release of ScHoolboy Q’s latest single ‘That Part’ featuring Kanye West which came out just over two weeks ago. But the sales for the single haven’t reflected the big demand online.
The song moved just 26k copies in the first week and in light of that, Top Dawg questioned the fan support and the regular tweets he receives from listeners everyday.

But when a fan asked him if poor sales of the song will push Q’s album back, he promised it is still dropping on schedule. It’s all part of the game.
