Last year during his interview on The Breakfast Club, Kanye West mentioned that him and Drake were in discussions of doing a joint album. It was tentatively titled Wolves he said.
There has been a lot of excitement regarding that idea since then and it appears as ‘Ye and Drizzy are somewhat serious about executing it. Tonight at the OVO Fest in Toronto, Drake brought out Kanye as a special guest for several songs including their Views collaboration ‘Pop Style’.
Kanye made most of the moment by asking the massive crowd if they were ready for “this” joint album with Drake. Drake later clarified that it was only a question Kanye was asking.
Perhaps frustration regarding behind the scenes paperwork for the album is what led to the tweets from Kanye about Apple-Tidal beef the other day. We’ll see.
