Alicia Keys has contributed to the upcoming soundtrack to the film Queen of Katwe with new song ‘Back To Life’.
Queen of Katwe is an upcoming biographical sports drama film directed by Mira Nair from a screenplay by William Wheeler. Set in Kampala, Uganda, the film follows 10 year-old Phiona Mutesi and her family in the impoverished area of Katwe in Kampala. She takes a liking for chess and eventually gets support from her family and community in pursuit of her dream to become an international chess champion.
Alicia Keys delivers two inspirational songs in one on ‘Back To Life’ which you can stream below. The film is set to open in theaters on September 30th.
