Pharrell continues with his love for film soundtracks. The superstar has produced and composed the music for the upcoming drama film Hidden Figures which stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe.
The film tells the story of three African-American women who played a large role in helping NASA launch John Glenn into orbit. Pharrell has contributed a few original songs to the soundtrack and he releases one of them today titled ‘Runnin’.
It’s a feel good song with a throwback feel — something P has done several times in the past. We’re sure you remember his smash hit ‘Happy’ from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack. Listen to the new tune below.
