Kanye West seems to be going through a lot right now and most of the industry is on his side. We’ve seen a few artists already come out in support of the GRAMMY winning rapper, including his close friend and protege Chance The Rapper who sent a prayer for him while performing live on BBC Radio 1Xtra yesterday.
Last night, his one time close collaborator Lupe Fiasco performed in the same city, Sacramento where Kanye had a big meltdown on stage and closed the show after performing just 2 songs. Since then, Kanye has canceled all of the remaining dates of his Saint Pablo Tour and was later hospitalized at the UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation.
Lupe took a couple of minutes to address the recent turn of events with Kanye. He sent prayers and love to his fellow Chicago native and explained to the audience how performing in front of thousands every other night can take a toll on your overall health. Watch the video below.

In another interesting news, TMZ is reporting that Kanye had a valid insurance that would protect him in case he falls ill and can not perform at his shows. The policy provides that it will will pay Kanye for not only the money he would have made out of the concerts but also the money he was obligated to pay others if “accident or illness … prevents any Insured Person from appearing or continuing to appear in any or all of the Insured Performance(s) or Event(s).”
