The MC4 rollout started out really well with the Nas and Kanye West assisted ‘Figure It Out‘ being a success with fans. That was followed by the ‘Lockjaw‘ visual and ‘No Shopping‘, both of which had people talking. But then all of a sudden just a few days out from the release, the album was pushed back due to apparent “sample clearances“.
From there, the album leaked and the whole thing has unfortunately turned into a mess that’s difficult to keep up with. The project was supposedly scrapped but tonight, French announced that he would release it for free. You can stream the mixtape below.
