WorldStarHipHop Founder Lee ‘Q’ O’Denat Dead at 43

UPDATE 2: LA Times reports that Q was in a massage parlor in San Diego when he became unresponsive. Paramedics arrived and attempted to revive him with CPR but he was pronounced dead about 5:30 p.m.

UPDATE: WSHH have confirmed that Q passed away in San Diego. Rest in peace.

With profound sadness, WorldStarHipHop and its employees, state that Lee ODenat, known as “Q”, the founder, leader and genius behind the website and brand has passed in San Diego. Q was a brilliant businessman who championed urban culture, ultimately creating the largest hiphop website in the world. But more than that, he was a devoted father and one of the nicest, most generous persons to ever grace this planet. We will miss his hearty laugh and warm spirit. WorldStarHipHop will continue in its various endeavors. We ask that you remember Q in your prayers and raise a toast to the sky in his name.

TMZ is reporting that WorldStarHipHop’s founder Lee ‘Q’ O’Denat has died. He was found dead in his sleep Monday night. He was 43 years old.

Q died from a heart attack, according to the San Diego County Coroner. Autopsy results also listed “obesity” as a contributing condition to the death. He did not respond to CPR and was pronounced dead on scene.
