Jay Z made a surprise appearance at Jay Electronica’s concert last night in New Orleans as part of the #TIDALXNOLA events for All-Star Weekend.
Hov popped up at the show along with Kevin Durant and some other friends. At one point, Jay Z told his Roc Nation artist to “put the album out” and there’s a video capturing the moment too which you can watch below. Jay Elect has been signed to Hov’s imprint since 2010 but has notoriously never released an album yet. Back in July last year, the talented emcee had hinted that his long awaited LP Act II aka The Turn will release within 40 days but of course that did not happen.
Most fans have given up their hopes of the Nola rapper ever releasing an album but we still have our fingers crossed. Listen to Hov, Jay.
