Two weeks ago, Raekwon announced his next album The Wild, the follow up to 2015’s Fly International Luxurious Art.
Today, he offers the first official single, ‘This Is What It Comes Too’ (not sure why it’s “too” when it should be “to”) and as expected, it as an aggressive sound.
“Hip-hop in its purest form is being reinstated,” the Wu-Tang MC told Billboard of his project. “You needed a taste, you needed the seasoning; relax, the Chef is here to serve you!” He adds of the track, “”This Is What It Comes Too” is a record with sonic driven energy and offers a remembrance of what music used to be and why hip-hop is the most exciting genre in music.”
