50 Cent has pulled out of Chris Brown’s ‘Party’ tour.
The tour was first announced last month with Chris Brown headlining and 50 Cent, Fabolous, O.T. Genasis, French Montana and Kap G as supporting acts. It was later changed to Chris and 50 co-headlining and French Montana removed from the lineup. Earlier this week, fans started to notice that 50 was no longer mentioned on the lineup on Live Nation, Ticket Master and other ticket retailers’ websites.
Today, TMZ has confirmed that 50 is indeed no longer part of the tour and it’s mainly over money. 50 supposedly agreed to do the tour after initial talks with the tour’s organizer, Live Nation but when the time came on to sign the contract, there were differences over the amount of payment. The negotiations failed and 50 eventually pulled out of the trek.
Some fans are obviously disappointed as they had purchased tickets to see the G-Unit general but no refunds will be provided as the main performer Chris is still performing. The first show takes place Friday, March 31 at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD.
UPDATE: 50 has addressed the situation on his Instagram and clarified that Chris has nothing to do with it and he would never let money come into friendship.
