Camila Cabello’s first ever solo single is here. The former Fifth Harmony member shocked fans late last year when she announced that she was leaving the girl group to pursue a solo career. She then tasted immediate success with her contribution to Machine Gun Kelly’s hit song ‘Bad Things‘.
Camila’s debut single ‘Crying In The Club’ goes the Dancehall route and sounds like a mix between Sia’s ‘Cheap Thrills’ and Christina Aguilera’s Genie In A Bottle’. We won’t be surprised if the latter is credited officially as a sample. ‘Crying In The Club’ serves as the first taste off the 20 year old’s forthcoming debut album The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving. which is due out in stores later this year. Stream it below.
Yesterday, she released a black and white trailer for the upcoming video which didn’t contain any portion from the actual song. It is being directed by Emil Nava and expected to be unveiled very soon.
UPDATE: Here’s the official music video.
