In case you somehow missed the announcement, Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It… series is bringing us albums from some of our finest legends, including but not limited to Ghostface Killah, Mobb Deep and the late great Big L. When this was announced, fans were especially excited to hear that they were getting a new project from Raekwon and tonight, the LP has arrived.
The Emperor’s New Clothes marks The Chef’s first album since 2017’s The Wild. It wouldn’t be right if Ghostface Killah didn’t show his face on this one and he has not one, not two, but three appearances on here, along with Method Man and Inspectah Deck. Also on here are Nas, Conway, Benny The Butcher, Westside Gunn and more.
The 17 track album contains production from Swizz Beatz, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Nottz, and many more.
