Jason Derulo’s latest single ‘Swalla’ featuring Ty Dolla Sign and Nicki Minaj was released back in February with the video following in March. It hasn’t done as well as expected from a Derulo song in the U.S. but internationally, it has made its mark.
Nicki hinted at an acoustic version of the song existing on social media a couple of weeks ago and then even previewed it live on her Instagram last week. Earlier today, she expressed her excitement on Instagram about the song again with the caption “I never do remixes for features & have never done an acoustic version for anything officially. When I tell u this shit right here is HARD AF! This shit is a fkng VIBE!”
The full version has been released tonight. The new ‘After Dark’ version features a completely different beat and re-done vocals as well, something which doesn’t happen too often these days. Stream it below.
