After months of hard work, Logic finally released his third studio album Everybody this Friday. If you buy the deluxe version of the album, it is also accompanied by a documentary which takes you behind the scenes of making of the project.
So how well is Logic’s album selling? HDD projects that Everybody will land on top of the Billboard 200 chart next week with a whopping 225-240k SPS, out of which 155-165k are traditional sales. The nearest competitor will be Country singer Chris Stapleton’s latest LP From A Room: Volume 1 which is set to move between 185-200k in the opening week. New Jersey born rapper Russ’ debut album There’s Really a Wolf is projected to move 36-41k copies.
With figures of this nature, Everybody will become the album with the highest opening week of Logic’s career and also his first number 1 on the overall Billboard chart. In a recent interview, the VMG/Def Jam rapper confirmed that his next (fourth) album will be his last. He also revealed the title of it through a hidden message in the Everybody album booklet.
UPDATE: The end of first week numbers are in. Logic has beaten Chris Stapleton to the number 1 spot with massive sales of 250k.
