Meek Mill was involved in a beef with Drake already when he found himself battling with another heavyweight, 50 Cent last January. The two rappers went back and forth numerous times, mostly on social media but the conflict soon died a slow death itself it seemed.
Neither 50 nor Meek has spoken on the situation ever in detail but in an interview with Angie Martinez yesterday, the Philly rapper finally opened up about how he made peace with the G-Unit boss (at the 27:45 mark). “50 ain’t lightweight went it comes to traffic,” said Meek, meaning to say that the Queens rapper takes his beefs seriously. “He said what he said, I said what I said, we talked like grown men, that was 9 months ago.. and left in the dark,” continued Meek.
