Logic continued his ongoing partnership with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for the live performance of his hit song ‘1-800-273-8255’ tonight at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The stage featured fifty attempt survivors and loss survivors from the Los Angeles area in the performance wearing shirts stating “You Are Not Alone.” It’s heartening to see Logic using his platform for a great cause. The rapper’s fans have often expressed how his music and message of peace, love and positivity has saved their lives.
He recently released a heartfelt music video for the song featuring actors such as Don Cheadle, Matthew Modine, Nathan Gould, Coy Stewart, Luis Guizman, Mickaëlle X. Bizet and Bonnie Burroughs. Watch Logic’s powerful performance below.
