Over the past year or so, iLoveMakonnen has been in the news for all the reasons except his music. The Atlanta artist hasn’t had a proper hit after ‘Tuesday’ in 2014 and later, his issues with Drake were made public to the world.
He’s now working on a new project and today, drops the first official single — ‘Love’ where he joins forces with Rae Sremmurd. It is produced by Mike WiLL Made It but even the super producer couldn’t save this disaster. You can stream it via Apple Music and judge for yourself (currently only out in select international markets).
In a recent interview with Rap-Up, Makonnen claimed that all is well between him and Drake. Last year, he had announced that he was no longer signed to OVO Sound but this song has been released by Drizzy’s label along with Warner, as we can clearly tell by the print on the iTunes store.
