A couple of weeks ago, Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo surprised many when he released a new single ‘Song For You’, putting his high notes on display to the public for the first time.
He returns today with the follow up, ‘Rope A Dope’ where he joins forces with 2 Chainz on the motivational R&B song. It’s quite well done and only shows that he indeed has capability of delivering quality music. Both songs will appear on his forthcoming EP Songs For You, due out in stores October 6th. The project will also have a guest appearance from Eric Bellinger. Stream it below.
Oladipo says: “I wanted to address what was going on and bring awareness to it, but in a positive manner. I want people to feel inspired and motivated to be great, and to stand up and have confidence. We need to come together as a country to deal with these problems. We aren’t going to solve anything unless we’re united.”
