Lil Uzi Vert’s big breakout single ‘XO Tour Llif3‘ is now beginning to lose steam so it’s time to put out another single to keep the momentum going.
The Philly rapper and his team have picked ‘The Way Life Goes’ as the next official single from his number 1 debut album Luv is Rage 2. It was sent for official adds to Urban radio stations a few days ago and is already the most added song this week on that format. ‘The Way Life Goes’ is arguably one of the most popular tracks from the album already, amassing more than 13 million plays on YouTube itself.
Back in August, Nicki Minaj was seen singing along to the song on her Instagram and asked Uzi to send her the beat so she could jump on it. “Ummm Uzi better make this a single, send me the beat, and quit playin,” she wrote. Maybe she will be featured on the official remix? That would be a smart thing to do to send the song flying to the top.
