Last week, reports surfaced that Cardi B has a collaboration with Beyonce coming soon. It stemmed from a video that Cardi’s studio engineer Ashby uploaded to his Instagram stories which revealed the studio monitor mentioning Bey’s name on the file.
But it seems like the much looked forward to collab isn’t happening anytime soon. Cardi B did an interview with Mina SayWhat backstage at the Philly Powerhouse concert shortly after Offset proposed to her on the stage. The rapper spoke on the Migos emcee’s surprise move to propose to her and whether she is already planning her big wedding.

Soon after (at the 3:30 mark), Cardi addressed the rumors about her song with Mrs. Carter. She says the reports are false but she hopes the collab actually happens soon. She also spoke about beating the odds to make it big in the Hip-Hop industry, feeling under pressure for her next single and debut album, invitees to her wedding, and much more.
