‘Real Friends’ was one of the standouts on Kanye West’s latest album The Life of Pablo. In fact, it’s easily one of the best songs that the rap superstar has put in last few years.
The song featured Ty Dolla Sign and was supposed to mark the return of ‘Ye’s G.O.O.D. Fridays series. It was produced by Boi-1da, Frank Dukes and Havoc. In March last year, Kanye’s friend Swizz Beatz announced on Instagram that DMX will be featured on the remix of the track, although it wasn’t revealed whether it would be an official release or just a freestyle sort of freebie.
Now after more than 18 months of wait, the song has finally made its way on the e-streets courtesy hacker group Music Mafia. “Thanks for the love and support baby, thank you, I hate you,” DMX says before kicking off his fiery verse on the song. This would have been a great moment if it was put out properly. You can listen here.
