When Eminem dissed Donald Trump during his BET cypher and later on several songs off his latest album Revival, the President didn’t react anywhere on social media or otherwise. But Trump surely cares about responding to Jay-Z’s criticism.
Jay did an interview on the CNN program, “The Van Jones Show” on Saturday where he spoke about saving his marriage with Beyonce, fatherhood, Trump’s presidency and much more. The rapper was disappointed with Trump’s “sh*thole” comments earlier this month which he termed as “hurtful.” “Everyone feels anger, but after the anger it’s really hurtful because he’s looking down on a whole population of people and he’s so misinformed because these places have beautiful people,” said Hov.
Trump had made those comments in an Oval Office meeting, as he rejected an immigration deal to protect DACA participants. “Why do we want all these people from sh*thole countries coming here?” he reportedly told senators on January 11. “You don’t take the trash out. You keep spraying whatever over it to make it acceptable and then, you know, as those things grow, then you create a superbug. And then now we have Donald Trump, the superbug,” Jay-Z continued.
Trump has been made aware of Jay-Z comments and fired back at him early Sunday morning. “Somebody please inform Jay-Z that because of my policies, Black Unemployment has just been reported to be at the LOWEST RATE EVER RECORDED!” Trump tweeted.
Somebody please inform Jay-Z that because of my policies, Black Unemployment has just been reported to be at the LOWEST RATE EVER RECORDED!
