Fat Joe was the latest guest on Ebro’s show on Beats 1 where he shared his thoughts on Lil Uzi Vert. During the conversation, Joe talked about today’s young artists being inspired by Lil Wayne. “You hear all these little kids now who doing hip-hop music. Those is all Lil Wayne’s flows. Every last one.”
Fat Joe then carried on to speak his thoughts on the young Philly artist, one of the most successful out of the crop. “Lil Uzi is a bad version of Lil Wayne. Its not as good as Lil Wayne. Just to be honest with you,” Joe said. But he clarified that he’s got nothing but love for the young rapper and even bought his album. “It’s a good album. It’s a good album. I don’t want to take it disrespectful in no way, but Lil Wayne is Lil Wayne. That’s different.” Listen to the snippet of interview below.
