Rumors of a collaboration between BlocBoy JB and Drake have been going around for a minute now. The Memphis rapper blew up in his city of Memphis with the single ‘Shoot’ last year which he followed up with another hit single ‘Rover’.
The rap upstart has been spotted with Drake a couple of times, at basketball games and then later in the city of Memphis. In one of the clips, Drake was seen dancing to ‘Rover’ with BlocBoy, giving birth to the theory that the Toronto superstar will either jump on the remix of the viral song or do a new one with the young spitter. Then came the snippets of a new song on which Drake had a verse.

Now after alluding to the collaboration with a OVO themed artwork last night on Instagram, the two have linked up for BlocBoy’s new single ‘Look Alive’. Can Drizzy help take the young rapper to the mainstream? Stream the song now on iTunes/Apple Music or Spotify
UPDATE: Now comes the official video which surprisingly looks quite amateurish.
