Quincy Jones needs no introduction. He has earned about 79 GRAMMY nominations spanning six decades of music career. Most know him for producing Michael Jackson’s multi platinum albums Thriller, Off The Wall and Bad, and had a close relationship with the King of Pop.
In a new interview with Vulture, Quincy has dropped a lot of bombshells, with talks about MJ, The Beatles, the Trumps, John F. Kennedy and more. The respected producer, who won $9.4 million in a lawsuit against Jacksonâs estate last year, calls the singer “greedy” and claims that his claims that he was suffering from Vitiligo skin disease were “bullsh*t.”
“I hate to get into this publicly, but Michael stole a lot of stuff. He stole a lot of songs. [Donna Summerâs] âState of Independence and âBillie Jean.â The notes donât lie, man. He was as Machiavellian as they come.” He adds, “[He was] Greedy, man. Greedy. âDonât Stop âTil You Get Enoughâ â Greg Phillinganes wrote the C section. Michael shouldâve given him 10 percent of the song. Wouldnât do it.”
Jones then called out the late singer about his claims that he was suffering from the skin disease prior to his death in 2009. “I used to kill him about the plastic surgery, man. Heâd always justify it and say it was because of some disease he had. Bullsh*t. He had a problem with his looks because his father told him he was ugly and abused him. What do you expect?”
Elsewhere in the chat, Quincy Jones said that The Beatles were the “worst musicians in the world,” claimed to know who assassinated John F. Kennedy (Chicago mobster Sam Giancana), revealed that he used to date Ivanka Trump (“She had the most beautiful legs I ever saw in my life”) and suggested that Marlon Brando slept with James Baldwin, Richard Prior and Marvin Gaye. Gosh.
