A Tribe Called Quest have taken to various social media platforms to announce that they have some big news coming this Monday.
Posting on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, the iconic New York group wrote, “Major @atcq Announcement on Monday. Stay Tuned… #TheQuestIsOn #RIPPhifeDawg #WeLoveYouTRIBE.” It isn’t clear what the announcement is going to be but our guess is it will be connected to either a new album or a tour of some kind. We will know in a few days.
Tribe released their last album We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service in 2016 which was their new album in 18 years. The album featured contributions from member Phife Dawg, who died eight months prior to the album’s release. It topped the Billboard 200 upon its release after selling 135k copies in the first week, which was much more than fans expected.
