Future Previews New Music in ‘Superfly’ Movie Trailer: Watch

As has been reported widely previously, Future has signed on to co-produce Sony’s remake of the 1972 classic film Superfly.

The Superfly remake will be directed by Director X, who became famous with directing music videos for a A-list artists such Drake, Usher, Justin Bieber and more. The film will also star Trevor Jackson (Grown-ish, Burning Sands) as Youngblood Priest and Jason Mitchell (Straight Outta Compton, The Chi) as Eddie.

Future is co-producing the film alongside Joel Silver, known for producing movies like Lethal Weapon and The Matrix trilogy. The Atlanta crooner is also taking care of the film’s official soundtrack. A new trailer for the film has been released today showing appearances from Rick Ross, Big Boi, Zaytoven and more. In the clip, a new song from Future can be heard in the background.
