Tory Lanez 'Memories Don't Die' First Week Sales

UPDATE: The final numbers are in. The album sold 51,289 copies with 12,411 of those coming from pure sales. This puts Tory on the charts at #4.

Tory Lanez released his sophomore album Memories Don’t Die on Friday but unlike when he put out his debut LP I Told You in 2016, it comes at a time when he doesn’t have a big single on the charts.

The Toronto singer-rapper’s new album is expected to move 40-45k copies in the first week with 10-15k out of that coming from pure sales, according to HDD. This should give Lanez a top 5 position on the Billboard 200 chart this week. In comparison, his debut album I Told You sold 53k units in the opening week and debuted at number 4. The soundtracks to the films The Greatest Showman and Black Panther will be fighting for the number 1 spot.

Memories Don’t Die comes via Interscope Records and features guest appearances from 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, Future, Fabolous and more.
