It was over a year ago when a snippet of Lil Pump saying “f*ck J. Cole” over and over again over a beat caused a stir and it died down completely until J. Cole released his last album K.O.D. and people heard ‘1985’. The song addressed a young rapper dissing him and while it also applied, perhaps more so, to Lil Yachty, it was Lil Pump who people looked at for a response.
Footage of fans at a Pump and Smokepurpp show screaming “f*ck J. Cole” then surfaced. The most recent event was when both rappers took the stage at Rolling Loud the same day and Pump was near the stage while Cole performed the song.
Though that could have led to some trouble, it turns out quite the opposite happened. DJ Akademiks has revealed that after the festival, the two actually sat down together and interviewed each other. He also posted a snippet of their conversation which you can check out below. It seems they might have been talking about when Lil Pump got arrested back in February for firing a gun in his home.
