Drake sampled Lauryn Hill’s song ‘Ex-Factor’ for his chart topping hit ‘Nice For What‘ and last night, Ms. Hill returned the favor by doing a little something on the beat.
Lauryn Hill was performing ‘Ex-Factor’ at the Apollo Theater in New York last night (May 1) when she cut it off and went into Drizzy’s infectious instrumental. She ended up freestyling on it with lyrics like “See this is Ex-Factor/He took the sample/My shit is classic/Here’s an example.” Watch the footage below.
