Nicki Minaj and Drake have had a complicated relationship over the years but it she is standing up for her Young Money label mate in times of beef.
Moments ago, Nicki sent out a tweet defending Drake in his ongoing beef with Pusha T which reignited after Pusha took shots at the Toronto superstar in his new song ‘Infrared‘ from the DAYTONA album. “It was written like Nas but it came from Quentin,” Pusha spit on the song, taking a jibe at Drizzy that he doesn’t write his own lyrics.
Nicki is not on that team though. “N*ggaz gon run that Quentin shit in the fkn ground like Drake don’t write 4 himself & OTHERS!” the Queens rapper said, assuring fans that Drake is a capable writer and lyricist. “Ya enemies will remix, reinvent & TRY 2make u RELIVE some old shit for YEARS 2 come when they have NOTHING ON U!
